At the Apple Quicktime Download Page You will see the following:



Select the Language Button of your choice. Then one is asked whether one wants to save the installation program; confirm this by selecting the "Save to desktop”.



confirm an select the Desktop as Your download location.



At the end of the Download, (which goes relatively quickly) the Installer will be located on the desktop,
Double-click the icon and follow the additional instructions.



Doubleclick it an follow the setup instructions



That should be it. (Usually it's not necessary a restart with Windows).

At the Apple Quicktime Download Page You'll see the following:



Select the Language Button and then click the Download Button:

At the end of the Download the Installer "is unpacked" and...



...will be located on the desktop:



Double click the installer icon and wait for the installation to finish, then restart the computer.
